In the last years, the investigation and design of discotic systems have progressively increased due to the advantages of application in molecular electronics. Their optoelectronic and charge transport properties allow them to be exceptional candidates for the manufacture of electronic devices, particularly OLEDs devices. Numerous lines of research have been devoted to the analysis of structural changes that lead to improvements in those properties. This work shows the results of a theoretical study carried out through molecular modelling of three discotic systems 1,3,4-0xadiazole and 1,3,4-Thiadiazole derivatives with benzene central ring and 1,3,4- Thiadiazole derivatives with core of 1,3,5-Triazine. The structural and the charge transport properties of the molecules have been determined by using quantum mechanical ca lculations such as the HOMO/LUMO energy, band gap, electron affinity, ionization potential, reorganization energy and transfer integral for holes and electrons. lt has been concluded on the character p or n type of discotic systems studied.en
