The teaching of spelling is a rather complex factor for those who learn it, since its character is transversal in all areas and courses of Primary Education. In this final degree work we want to know the mistakes that are made in the teaching and learning process of spelling, but we also want to know the possible solutions so that these mistakes are not made. Within these possible solutions, a series of techniques are developed that can be carried out in the classroom to help the student. The teacher should know these techniques so that the development of spelling rules is effective from the beginning of Primary Education and for later teaching. An investigation has been made of the contents that are worked in the second cycle of primary education of the Edelvives book and of the activities that this publishing house proposes after stating each one of the orthographic rules. The activities proposed are aimed at disseminating, teaching and perfecting the objectives proposed by the publisher. In short, the teaching of spelling should be a motivating way of learning, which is not a memoristic and traditional teaching method, and for this it is important to know the way it is worked in the classroom in order to analyze how this skill is acquired and to know the different ways of acting.
