Resumen
[ES]La identidad de los docentes ha cambiado con el pasar de los años. Es por este motivo por el que se
realiza esta investigación acerca de historias de vida de los docentes de educación primaria, ya que lo que
se pretende es observar qué elementos son los más importantes o los que más se tienen en cuenta a la
hora de elegir la carrera de magisterio y cuáles de ellos tienen más peso durante la trayectoria
profesional, de tal modo que así se podría configurar un perfil de identidad docente que nos permita
guiarnos y entender mejor el sentido que tiene hoy en día ser maestro y por qué muchos alumnos hoy en
día siguen escogiendo el estudio de esta profesión para dedicarse a ello de por vida.
[EN]Teachers’ identity has changed over the years. It is for this reason that this research on life histories of teachers in elementary education is performed, since the aim is to observe what elements are most important or most frequently taken into account when choosing career of teaching and which ones are more important for the career, so that so could I set up a profile of teacher identity that allows us to guide us and better understand the meaning it has today become a teacher and why many students today are choosing to study this profession to devote to it for life.
